Easy Tour with Boat Ride and Bastei Bridge

An easy to do walk featuring two great sites of the national parks of Bohemian and Saxon Switzerland. Day trip designed for an easy going day that anybody with any fitness level can do.

After picking you up in your hotel by our guide and leaving Prague you will travel through the countryside of Czechia. Relax and observe the historic region of Northern Bohemia. Our local guide will point out several interesting landmarks, such as castle ruins and canyons, along this 2-hour drive to Saxon-Bohemian Switzerland national park.

Your first stop will be the famous stone bridge "Bastei" in Germany. Sandstone towers and the Neurathen castle ruins will remind you of the golden age of this medieval place. We will walk you around, show you all viewpoints and point out the best photo spots. You can stare down at the river Elbe canyon (deepest in Europe!) and several table mountains around. You'll get all the time you need to feast on the beauty of this site with your own eyes. Bastei bridge is easily accessible and anybody can enjoy the incredible views.

As a reward for completing the first part of your tour you will have a lunch at a traditional Czech restaurant with a warm atmosphere. You have á la carte selection - the best possible option - and we recommend trying some local beers as well (included). Vegetarian and vegan options available.

For the second half of the day we will drive you to the "Gorges of Kamenice river"  where you will enjoy 20 minutes long dinghy ride in a sandstone canyon formed over 100 million years ago. Your guide will take you through enchanting passages and along bizarre rock shapes and stone pillars. A landscape almost like from a fairy tale. Watch local birds such as kingfisher and try to spot a trout or even a salmon during your walk through the gorges.
