Prague half day trip to Unetice brewery

Fresh new half day (6 hrs) Prague tour ! Perfect time saving trip.

Enjoy a hike through great viewpoint overlooking Vltava river, take a ferry ride to the other shore and stroll in a nature reserve “Silent Valley” exploring beautiful scenery.

Visit a century old small Czech traditional brewery “Unetice” with a delicious beer and á la carte lunch included. Set on a 10 km hike that will take you out of Prague to one of the local's most wanted leisure time destination.

You will start by meeting the tour guide around 8 a.m. at "Vaclavske namesti" (Wenceslas Square) which is Prague main square. From there you will travel some 45 minutes conveniently by a metro and bus to a local town Klecany while learning stories about Czechs, their habits and history.

Starting the hike in a park next to a small church and a chateau we will introduce you to a story about a local patriot  V.B. Trebizky who participated in the Czech "National Revival" era and who used to hike to the same site where we will make our first stop – a great viewpoint with a wooden cross overlooking  meander of Vltava river.

Next you will enjoy a short ferry ride to get you to the other shore. There is no bridge and this is the only mean of transport here making it a bit special. We will walk around another local chateau, 19th century railroad station – one of the symbols of Emperor Franz Joseph era - and end up having a cup of lovely coffee or tea while  tasting homemade cake or pie in a small cosy coffee shop.

Refreshed, we will then stroll along several historical villas showcasing lives of the rich during the first Czechoslovakia republic. Another highlight awaits you just after it, an easy hike through the nature reserve “Silent Valley” following a stream surrounded by high rocks. 

Our trip ends in village Unetice, famous for it's restaurant-style brewery with 100+ years long tradition, which was just restored back to it's former glory. Take the chance and taste local beer, then enjoy á la carte late lunch (main course and drink included). We will give you tips on some typical Czech meals to try to finish this 5 hours well-balanced half day trip.

We will head back to Prague center by a combination of bus and metro or we can call a taxi (taxi not included).
